The Outcome
Sid and Parina flew in all the way from the USA for a couple session above the Douro Valley — and the light did not disappoint. We spent the golden hour on a stone ledge overlooking the river, terraced vineyards rolling out on both sides for miles.
There's something about the Douro that slows people down. No rush, no forced poses — just Sid pulling Parina close as the sun dropped behind the hills, the river curving quietly below. It's one of my favorite kinds of sessions: a couple who traveled across an ocean for a few hours in a place they'll remember for the rest of their lives.
Shot in documentary style, using the natural light of late afternoon and the landscape itself as the backdrop — no studio, no setup, just Sid, Parina, and the Douro.
